ABSTRACT

Studying for an MBA at Harvard Business School is an opportunity only available to a select few. Only the very best, the most able and the hardest working make the cut. However, in the words of the school themselves, the MBA is not the fi nal destination for these students, but an important point of transition that prepares them for the opportunities that lie ahead. Getting through your foundation years and the fi rst years of specialist training is much like this. Only the very best will make it on to the specialist training programme of their choice but for those that do, this is just the beginning. The opportunities open to them will be immense and the choices and decisions that lie ahead often daunting.
