ABSTRACT
Intramuscular adrenaline (epinephrine) 0.5 mL of 1/1000 is the treatment for airway compromise or hypotension together with intravenous fluids and antihistamines. Always remove the offending antigen if possible, e.g. bee sting. The second or late phase is responsive to treatment with steroids.
