ABSTRACT

Nanotechnology is one of the highest demanding and growing elds of current research activities. In recent decades, increased development in nanoparticle (NP) synthesis is inevitable because of its incredible applications in all elds of science and technology. Metal and metal oxide NP synthesis has become the focus of intense research activities. The renowned physicist Richard Feynman proposed the idea of nanotechnology, in its traditional sense, which means building things from the bottom up, with atomic precision. Nowadays,

nanotechnology research is developing as cutting-edge technology that is interdisciplinary with chemistry, physics, material science, biology, and medicine. In the branch of material science, the concept of NPs allied with particles having one or more dimensions up to the size of 100 nm or less.” There is a note associated with this denition: “Novel properties that differentiate nanoparticles from the bulk material typically develop at a critical length scale of under 100 nm.”
