ABSTRACT
Seeing a myriad of patients from all walks of life and a variety of cultures, while treating each as an individual and acknowledging what is important to them, continues to excite and challenge us. The daily activities of a doctor are therefore highly variable, with novel cases presenting to even the most experienced clinicians. Often challenging scenarios arise and guidance is needed on the most appropriate way to approach them while upholding the principles of the profession.
