ABSTRACT
Our recommendations for the management of patients with UGIB are based on the recommendations issued by the British Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy Committee (Palmer, 2002), the British Society of Gastroenterology (Jalan and Hayes, 2000), the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (Barkun et al., 2003) and the French recommendations (Thabut and Bernard-Chabert, 2007).
