ABSTRACT

This study is focused on the effect of laser exposure on the modification of surface geometrical microstructure and chemical composition and the potential implication on long term durability of cleaned surfaces. The cleaning of spray paint from mortar surfaces was done with application of Nd:YAG laser. Effectiveness of cleaning is assessed SEM and EDX techniques.
