ABSTRACT
Commercial photoinitiators Most of the many different types of photoinitiators are based on a range of established structures. Each of these structures brings distinct properties to its use. In both Type I and Type II photoinitiators, minor substitution patterns on these structures bring variations in physical properties, UV absorption and photochemical reactivity. The distinct groups of photoinitiators and variations in their structure are examined below.
