ABSTRACT
Let’s discuss some examples of Kansei engineering in products around us and the points at which Kansei engineering was applied to these products. Let’s start with cars. It is said that Japan’s economy has been powered by cars and home appliances. Supporting industries are especially broad and diverse for cars-ranging from steel as the raw material to electronic parts. This represents a big contribution to Japan’s economy if the products are selling well. It is a source of great pride for me that Kansei engineering contributes to this success.
