ABSTRACT
This chapter deals mainly with linear oscillatory motion electric generators. The linear excursion is within a few centimeters. As prime movers, free piston Stirling engines (SEs), linear internal combustion singlepiston engines, and direct wave energy engines (with meter range excursions) are proposed.
