ABSTRACT
There is one nervous system, with central and peripheral components. The system extends from the brain to the intraepidermal nerve bers and includes everything in between. All aspects of the nervous system are potential therapeutic targets and are potentially susceptible to injury by drugs, chemicals, and every novel therapy currently under development.
