ABSTRACT
This is descriptive of a journey inspired by the outcome of the survey described in the previous chapters. The ideal passenger experience is the central theme of the journey. There are many future airplane concepts available. For instance, Finnair (in 2008) described the airplane of 2093-a blended wing plane. In Hamburg, the BWB AC20.30 was drafted by the University of Applied Sciences of Hamburg, and the Boeing 797 is another example of a future airplane. In Figure 5.1, the interior of a blended wing body designed by the Delft University of Technology is shown.
