ABSTRACT
The tunnel itself is being excavated at a depth of 15/20m using an EPB Tunnel Boring Machine (Figure 2), 7.8m in diameter and 80m in length.The tunnel lining is formed with prefabricated concrete segments (7 sections a day are completed for an average progress rate of 10 meters per day).
