ABSTRACT
The goal of the data collection process is to collect all the data from the sites in a timely manner. For electronic data capture (EDC) studies, the process is simple and requires only that we know what subjects have been enrolled. The process for paperbased studies centers on tracking case report form (CRF) pages. In both cases, a close partnership with clinical operations, and the clinical research associates (CRAs) in particular, is essential.
