ABSTRACT
Spinal nerves are formed by the union of the dorsal and ventral roots. Both of these roots run in the subarachnoid space to reach their points of exit at the intervertebral foramina. The central processes of the pseudounipolar neurons of the dorsal root ganglia (Figures 10.1 and 10.3) form the dorsal roots.
