ABSTRACT

As has been shown, there are an enormous number of variables at play that in¡uence to one degree or another the food security of individuals, regions, nations and the world. Also, as has been stated in the introduction, the goal of this book was not necessarily to provide solutions to the many issues but highlight as much of the debate as was possible. This would then provide a platform from which further research and analysis can be brought to bear on future overarching strategies. Indeed, the many possible integrated solutions could ultimately become the subject of another book; however, for now with so much information coming together in one place, it would be remiss of me not to at least remark on some of the glaring findings that this research has uncovered. With this in mind, the following section highlights certainly not all but many of the issues and potential considerations that may eventually contribute towards possible solutions as raised throughout this book.
