Caterpillars are ugly. ‚ey crawl around and eat a lot. Butter¤ies are beautiful. ‚ey ¤y. Is revenue assurance (RA) in the process of transforming from a caterpillar into a butter¤y? Vendors that used to shout about RA now speak the words in hushed tones, instead talking about the next big thing, which may be business data analytics, revenue intelligence, business assurance, or pretty much any combination of words that implies “better and more than current revenue assurance.”
