Shared Learning in Safety

Is shared learning an area of underexploitation in safety? The authors believe that shared learning in safety provides numerous opportunities for improving the health and safety of any workplace. Many organizations are concerned about the legal implications of sharing information within the organization, particularly as it relates to incidents and workplace safety. While this is a genuine concern among organizations, leaders must “nd creative ways to ensure that knowledge generated from safety incidents is effectively shared across the organization to avoid repeat incidents.
