ABSTRACT

Models, per se, have no inherent value unless they are put to use, and put to the test. As practitioners, the authors recognize how important it is to provide practical and pragmatic advice, guidance, and tools to program management professionals, and their organizations, around the world and in all industry sectors. As such, we want to make sure that our competency model can be-and is-used in multiple ways with the speciƒc goal of helping people and organizations improve their ability to manage programs and program complexity.
