Organizational realignment is something of an art as well as a science. It is important that the firm implements an offshore model to remain competitive in the marketplace. The firm has established an Ethics. As market changes demand, the firm regretfully must separate some Information Technology (IT) employees as part of deployment of an offshore model. An ethics program management office (PMO) will be providing oversight on the administration of a generous—compared to industry standards—program designed to support those employees displaced by the offshore program. Budget management includes the direct reporting and tracking related to the legitimate costs of IT ethics management, as well as methods by which the budget is defined, approved and managed. Quality assurance provides measured oversight in meeting Ethics PMO goals. Procurement management from an Ethics PMO perspective generally means objectively evaluating the ethical principles of the prospective vendor firms providing the staff for the PMOs.
