ABSTRACT
Amongst various randomized response alternatives of the original Warner design, we note that the randomized unrelated question design is the most widely used by investigators in practice. For example, the method has been applied to
(i) estimate the frequency of the illegitimacy of offspring (Greenberg et al., 1969);
(ii) estimate the incidence of induced abortions (Abernathy, Greenberg & Horvitz, 1970; Shimizu & Bonham, 1978).
