ABSTRACT
In this study, by taking into consideration the local site conditions, a seismic microzonation study was carried out in terms of soil amplification in accordance with the Seismic Microzonation Manual prepared by World Institute for Disaster Risk Management (DRM) in order to evaluate and assess the probable effects of an expected Marmara earthquake in the KüçükçekmeceHalkal region.
