ABSTRACT
The Hukou tunnel is part of the 345 km Taiwan High Speed Railway, a US$ 15 billion project, under BOT model, running from Taiwan’s capital, Taipei, to the second major city, Kaoshiung located in the south of Taiwan. Operational services are scheduled for October 2005.
