ABSTRACT
Bilbao is the financial capital of the Basque Country. Located in northeast Spain overlooking the Bay of Biscay, some one hundred kilometres from the French border, the city’s port is one of the most important in the area, with quays and wharves with natural clearance of more than thirty metres.
