ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Loess is widely distributed in Northern China. The area covered by loess is an important resource of the civilization of China. A lot of scientific and engineering problems are involved in the construction on loess soil, including engineering geology, composition, state and index properties, structure, engineering properties, engineering problem, and so on. This paper introduces significant research results on loess that have been the fruit of the efforts by many Chinese Scholars.
