ABSTRACT

In our judgment, a fundamental but logical revolution is required in our thinking about India’s development. India, representing the largest group of humanity (about 17%), has to achieve, logically, her due place in human community. This is the first step in our thinking about water. To establish this basic thought, not just as a dream but also as a reality, we will demonstrate that several novel technologies are possible, which can revolutionize the water scene of India and concomitantly the development of India. Climate change poses additional serious challenges, which have to be dealt with integrally with developmental planning. We will provide some ways to meet this challenge also.
