- Universities and the Disconnect between Wildlife Research and Management

Universities play a central role in education, research, and outreach for the wildlife profession. With respect to wildlife research, some have argued that what university faculty members do should be more practical and less academic. However, despite this opinion, the fact remains wildlife research is a signature product from research universities that have wildlife programs.
