ABSTRACT

Geosocial networking is a type of social networking in which geographic services and capabilities are used to enable additional social dynamics (Quercia et al., 2010). The location data collected from users allow social networks to connect users to local people who share some common interests. With the advent of mobile devices, huge amounts of location data are being collected. Despite of growing concerns on tracking location data, this trend will surely accelerate.
