ABSTRACT
In the past few decades, a large number of images have been collected by different planetary missions and an increasing amount of images will be acquired by the current and the future missions. The collected data that are of different types (i.e., multitemporal, multisensor, and stereo images) need to be analyzed. Typically, an important task in such analysis is feature extraction, that is, the identi†cation of spatial structures in the images.
