ABSTRACT
The quality of the experimental data ultimately obtained is a function of many factors. Composite processing was discussed in the previous chapter. Another critical step is specimen preparation. Care must be taken to avoid damaging the material when cutting individual specimens from a composite panel. Likewise, it is important that the testing equipment used is in good working order, and that measurement of forces, strains, and displacements are accurately conducted.
