ABSTRACT
Transient hypothyroidism (THypo) is dened as a period of reduced mild thyroid function with elevated TSH, which is followed by a euthyroid state. Transient cases of TSH increase are frequently caused by viral or autoimmune thyroiditis, drugs that interfere with thyroid function, or toxic injury that may affect the thyroid gland.1
