ABSTRACT

Table 2.1 is a periodic table of the elements, with the elements that are superconductors at one atmosphere, and have critical temperatures, Tc > 0.1 K, shaded [1]. The lanthanides and actinides, elements 58-71, and 90-103, respectively, have a high density of electronic states compared to the rest of the periodic table. This feature, along with many unpaired electrons, make these elements particularly difcult to categorize theoretically, so the four one-atmosphere superconductors in the group have not been included in the following tables and will receive little attention here.
