In context, systems engineering is associated with analysis, requirements understanding, and the importance of so„ware design capabilities. Interfaces are dešned externally and internally to ensure that hardware and so„ware are compatible in supporting team activities. §e systems engineering management plan provides direction for planning major technical reviews and includes conšguration management for planning and preparation for formal audits.
