ABSTRACT
To improve your chances for a successful so„ware design method, it is important to have a well-dešned so„ware process. You should dešne and document plans to support the so„ware design methods. So„ware design methods and a documented plan for so„ware development will help so„- ware developers. §ese methods provide the necessary support to organizations for them to know what is expected as far as so„ware design/ development activities. Appendix A provides a dra„ or outline that can be used to dešne and document a So„ware Development Plan (SDP). §e critical items pertaining to the development of this plan consist of planning and providing engineering information and direction for the production of so„ware. It is important to know that this planning process must be consistent with system-level planning.
