ABSTRACT
When so„ware organizations and military and aerospace programs change their ways of conducting business, the change cannot be trouble-free. §e addition of new ideas can increase stress, while adding monthly so„ware engineering reviews to committed programs or project schedules. §is does not mean that making a change is a bad idea. Monthly reviews serve as a method to determine and provide verišcation of the products generated by the program or project before conducting and performing formal audits (i.e., First Article Inspections [FAIs], FCAs, and PCAs). Verišcation is a key process to ensure correctness and consistency with respect to the tasks performed and to ensure that documented plans, processes, and procedures are compliant.
