ABSTRACT
As discussed in Chapter 4, there are many standards for carbon footprint analysis of different types of organizations and institutions. However, these standards are primarily based on the GHG Corporate Protocol. Therefore, understanding the GHG Corporate Protocol methods and the perspective of the GHG Protocol Initiative can give a solid foundation of GHG inventory methodology. For this reason, this chapter is devoted to explaining the GHG Protocol.
