Numerical Methods for p–Harmonic Flows and Applications to Image Processing

This chapter is concerned with the minimization of constrained functionals, in particular with the computation of p-harmonic maps. This problem has applications to liquid crystals, as well as to directional diffusion and chromaticity denoising. We follow here the work of Osher and the first author of the present text from [337].
