ABSTRACT
An email worm spreads through infected email messages. e worm may be carried by an attachment, or the email may contain links to an infected web site. When the user opens the attachment or clicks the link, the host gets infected immediately. e worm exploits the vulnerable email software in the host machine to send infected emails to addresses stored in the address book. us, new machines get infected. Worms bring damage to computers and people in various ways. ey may clog the network tra¨c, cause damage to the system, and make the system unstable or even unusable.
