: Higher-order designs for two treatments

In this chapter we consider the properties of higher-order designs for two treatments. By “higher-order” we mean that the design includes either more than two sequence groups or more than two treatment periods or both. In the next chapter we will consider higher-order designs for more than two treatments. In Chapter 5 we illustrate analyses for some of the two-treatment designs introduced below.
