ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION Lateral mammoplasty is an oncoplastic technique that can be used to excise cancers in the upper outer quadrant of the breast. This is an oncologically safe approach that allows the surgeon to perform a relatively wide excision and achieve good margins while preserving excellent overall shape of the breast.
