REMOVING GELS Since many gels slowly embrittle and degrade with continued UV exposure, that is, tanning bed and natural sunlight, they must usually be removed every two to three months.
The best way to remove UV gels is to let the nails grow out or to carefully file them off with heavy abrasives.
