Migraine headaches take an extraordinary toll in terms of cost as well as the burden of pain and suffering. Affecting 17.1% of women and 5.6% of men, roughly half of those with migraines have never been diagnosed, and only a surprising 12% use preventive treatments for their headaches [2].
