ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on basic image acquisition and processing. Image acquisition will be demonstrated using a digital single lens reflex (SLR) camera. Basic image processing techniques for enhancement and analysis will be covered. Remember, good images require good illumination, so be sure to align your microscope as per Chapter 4 before acquiring images.
