ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we study the hardware design details of sensor nodes. A WSN sensor n ode ( also c alled a mote) co nsists o f a nalog s ensors, a mi crocontroller, memory, an RF (radio frequency) communication unit, a battery, and other components. We will use [Jason03] as the main reference, as it provides a pioneering sensor mote design.
