ABSTRACT
Regional recurrence is defi ned as reappearance of disease within the ipsilateral axillary nodes, which may or may not involve the overlying skin. It should be noted that the current American Joint Committee on Cancer staging system classifi es supraclavicular nodal involvement as regional and not systemic recurrence (pN3M0 IIIC).
