ABSTRACT
There are really only three ways to convey money: (1) by gift (grant), (2) by loan (debt), or (3) by investment (equity). In Chapter 14, we discussed the uses of debt and equity. As you may recall, equity has a very limited role in environmental finance because of its high cost. Grant and loan programs dominate the environmental finance landscape.
