ABSTRACT

This chapter addresses the issues of integrating the types of cross-platforms information social enterprisers will need in the course of doing business. Intelligent systems originally emerged from the artificial intelligence community. There was a great deal of interest in knowledge-based systems, which are rule-based intelligent systems. An intelligent-agent-based system is a highly distributed system in which agents are active concurrent objects that act on behalf of users. From a Semantic Web perspective, an ontology is an explicit, formal specification of a shared conceptualization of interest. Semantic Web technologies are being used to develop social ontologies, important in social networks. The Semantic Web is an excellent vehicle for enabling data collection and retrieval of data related to social enterprising. The web content management interface is how documents within the document management system can be integrated into the social enterprising.
