ABSTRACT
Proteins interact with each other in a highly specic manner, and these interactions are crucial for many biological functions. Their impairment may lead to the development of several disorders. Hence, the characterization of protein-protein interactions and, especially, their networks is of highest impact for dening cellular processes at the molecular level as well as for the understanding of diseases and for novel therapeutic approaches.
