ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we provide the computational background for alternative methods of comparing group means and variances, provide tests of signi•cance that can be used on continuously distributed random variables that are grouped on lesser measurement scales, and compare the analysis of variance and regression analysis. The chapter also provides basic information on experimental design.
