ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we introduce the fundamentals of Bayesian analysis based on Bayes’ theorem that was introduced in Chapter 3. The estimation of discrete and continuous parameters based on Bayesian analysis is presented in this chapter. We will use practical examples from engineering and the sciences to introduce the concepts and their applications.
