ABSTRACT
Systems are classified as linear and nonlinear by the characteristics of systems in terms of the available mathematical tools. This classification is applicable to dynamical and static systems. The theory of linear systems is well studied, while that of the nonlinear systems is more widely applicable in systems science. It is because when studying practical systems, one is often faced with nonlinear mathematical models.
